Step back in time when people gathered together for a fall picnic on the front lawn. Bring your own picnic lunch, reusable water bottles, a blanket and join us at this free, family-friendly outdoor event at the Mulock Property! Enjoy a lovely Fall harvest afternoon outdoors, and tours of a portion of the Mulock house celebrating the heritage and history of this special place.
HOW TO GET HERE
You can walk, bike, take public transit or come via our free Shuttle Bus. Shuttle bus will be running from Ray Twinney Complex (100 Eagle Street West) where there is plenty of parking available. We welcome walkers and cyclists as ways to get to Mulock Property (16780 Yonge Street). However, there will be no parking or passenger drop-offs for private vehicles on-site. If you bike, don't forget to bring a lock to secure your bike to the fencing.

WHAT TO BRING
Your own picnic lunch, reusable water bottles/travel mugs (water available to refill) and a blanket to sit on. A bike lock if applicable. Dress for the weather!
Note smoking, vaping, and consumption of alcohol or drugs strictly prohibited.
ACCESSIBILITY
At this time, the property is in its original state and may not be completely accessible for individuals requiring mobility assistance. The grounds of Mulock Property have gradual slopes and some rough terrain. We suggest that people with accessible needs be accompanied by someone who can assist. Please note the Mulock house is not accessible at this time.
FOOD DONATIONS
We welcome any non-perishable food donations for the Newmarket Food Pantry.

- Is the shuttle bus wheelchair accessible?
The bus is fully accessible and can secure up to 2 wheelchairs at a time.
- Are accessible washrooms available?
Yes, there will be accessible portable toilets on-site.
- Is accessible parking available on site?
No, there no parking at the Mulock Property, but there are accessible parking spaces available at Ray Twinney Complex (100 Eagle Street West) where the shuttle bus will pick-up and drop-off passengers.
- Is this a dog-friendly event?
Yes. Please keep your dog on a leash and clean up after it. Your dog may accompany you on the
shuttle bus from the Ray Twinney Complex (100 Eagle Street West). Please note that dogs are not permitted inside the Mulock Home.
Is the Mulock Property open to the public now?
A portion of the Mulock House is open to the public on the day of the Picnic. Public access is by Guided Tour only.
- Can we drop off passengers if we don't park there?
No. Please use Ray Twinney Complex shuttle bus (100 Eagle Street West). Alternatively, you can walk or bicycle to the property.
- Can we go inside the Mulock house?
Yes, tours of a portion of the Mulock house will take place during this event.
